Every feed you open was built by people whose job is to keep you there. This removes that surface and leaves the rest of the site alone. Open a social site and the feed is gone, replaced by a line reminding you what you sat down to do. Open a chess site and the game lobby is gone, but the lessons and the analysis board still work. Open YouTube and the feed is still there, filtered down to music. Twelve sites are covered, among them Instagram, Reddit and TikTok. The full list is in the screenshots above. WHAT STAYS Messages, notifications, search, profiles, job listings, comment permalinks, chess lessons, and anything you reached through a direct link. The aim is not to lock you out of a site. It is to remove the part designed to hold you there, and keep the part you actually came for. YOUTUBE, FILTERED TO MUSIC The feed is not taken away. It is filtered, and so are search, history and playlists: entries that do not look like music are hidden and will not open. A video plays only once the extension can confirm it is music, using data the page already carries. No network requests are made. If it cannot confirm, the video stays blocked, which is deliberate: it fails closed rather than open. Short-form video is removed wherever it appears, not only on its own page, and so are ads, the side menu and the autoplaying preview. A video that does play arrives without recommendations, comments or end screens. TODAY'S INTENTION Write one line in the morning, the thing you are actually here to finish, and that is what every block shows you for the rest of the day, in your own words. It expires at midnight, because yesterday's goal is noise. A DAILY COUNT Every block is counted, separately for each site. The popup keeps a week of history, ranks the sites by how often you reached for them, shows a streak for the ones you have left alone, and counts the minutes you spend on the parts still open to you. The number is the point: a habit is hard to argue with once you can see it. NO OFF SWITCH No snooze, no five-minute exception, no per-site toggle, nothing to flip in a weak moment. The only button on the card closes the tab. If you genuinely want a site back, uninstall the extension. That is a decision, and it should feel like one. PRIVACY No accounts, no analytics, no servers, and no network requests of any kind. Your reminder text and seven days of counts stay in your own browser. One permission, storage, plus access to the sites it changes.
