Overview

Try 10 employer checks free, then unlock unlimited UK sponsor-register checks. Runs locally with no account.

**Know before you apply.** Sponsor Check reads the job page you are already looking at and matches the employer against the GOV.UK register of licensed sponsors — 127,672 organisations, matched locally on your own machine, with no server round trip and no account. **What it costs.** Your first ten distinct employer checks are free. Every trial check is the complete product: register evidence, close matches, advert warnings, agency signals and general published salary-floor comparisons. Checking the same employer again does not use another check. Pro is available from £7.99 at uksponsorguide.uk. It unlocks unlimited checks for one, three or six months. Each option is a one-off payment, not a recurring subscription. You paste in a signed licence key; there is still no account and still no network request. **Three answers, and we mean all three.** - **Licensed sponsor** — the employer matches a register entry. You get the legal name, the town, the routes and the rating. - **Probably licensed** — we found a close entry but the names are not identical. The panel lists every candidate so you can decide. - **Not on the register** — nothing matched. That is not the same as "will not sponsor you", and we say so. Matching a job-board brand name to a legal name is genuinely hard. Most checkers answer yes or no and are quietly wrong some of the time. We show our working instead. **Recent checks, notes and export.** Every check you make from a job page or the sidebar is kept on your device — the last 100 — with room for a note on each one. One click exports the whole list to a spreadsheet file. It replaces the job-search spreadsheet, and none of it ever leaves your browser. **It also reads the ad, not just the register:** - Flags job ads whose own text rules sponsorship out, and quotes the sentence. - Flags recruitment agencies, because an agency's licence tells you nothing about the employer you would actually work for. - Compares the advertised salary with the published general Skilled Worker figures (£41,700 standard, £33,400 reduced) and the separately published Health & Care Worker figure. It does not determine which figure applies to a person or whether anyone is eligible. **Where it works** On the major UK job boards, and on company careers pages hosted by the common applicant tracking systems. The full list of sites is in the permissions on this page — that is the authoritative list, and it is shorter to read there than here. Anywhere else, use the toolbar sidebar to look a company up by name — click the extension icon and search. **What it will not tell you** Which roles a company has sponsored, or how many visas it issued. Nobody publishes that. The Home Office discontinued the per-company certificate tables in December 2024 and the quarterly transparency release is aggregate only. Any tool showing you a company's "sponsorship history" is inferring it. We would rather tell you exactly what we know. **Privacy** No tracking, no analytics, no account, and no network requests. The register lives inside the extension, so the pages you visit and the companies you check never leave your browser. A short local record of your checks — company name, verdict, and any note you type — is kept on your device so the sidebar can show it and you can export it. That record never leaves your browser, and Clear all deletes it at any time. Not legal or immigration advice.
