Overview

Detect Universal Commerce Protocol manifests, surface agent-readiness signals, and feed anonymous uptime stats to UCP Checker.

See Agent Readiness in Seconds - Instant manifest detection – Automatically probes /.well-known/ucp on every storefront you visit, showing HTTP status, response time, version metadata, and a quick link to the canonical report on ucpchecker.com. - Robots & firewall visibility – Instantly see whether GPTBot, Gemini, Claude, Apple Intelligence, or CommonCrawl can reach the store. Any firewall blocks or robots.txt disallows appear right in the badge. - Zero-click workflow – Green dot = UCP ready. Gray dot = not detected. The popup lets you open the public status page or rerun a live check without leaving the tab. - Passive data engine – The “Share anonymous uptime stats” toggle (on by default, clearly labeled “Public data only”) crowdsources fresh manifests so the global directory stays current while respecting privacy. - Developer-friendly defaults – Path-scoped host permissions look only at UCP manifests. No cookies, browsing history, or incognito tabs are touched. Why install it? - Shopify/BigCommerce/Magento agencies: verify every storefront before opening DevTools. - AI platform teams: confirm partner stores expose MCP endpoints and compliant robots policies. - Growth & BD teams: spot agent-ready brands quickly, then send them their public status report. Permissions rationale The extension requests storage, webNavigation, and activeTab, plus host access to https://*/.well-known/ucp*. That scoped host permission is the only path we fetch; no other page content or user data is read. Clicking “View Status” simply opens the public report on ucpchecker.com. Privacy - Only public manifest JSON is transmitted, and only when “Share anonymous uptime stats” remains enabled. - Requests use credentials: "omit" so session cookies or tokens never leave the browser. - Badge state and timestamps live solely in chrome.storage.local for the popup view.
