this actually worked.. at first u have to click on each month.. ill hav to wait to make sure that it backs up each month automatically.. There is a flaw though, wen u click "Read" (history) the page never loads most of the time.. - - it saves the history in .TXT format in the drive, then when u want to view it click 'read' it retrieves the file and it should view it in the browser.. - -n.b, i found no competition to this extension.. its pitiful really.. because its such a good idea.. Sorry for the late late reply. I haven't got time to update the extension. Sorry for all the bugs that you encountered. I published a new version. It now uses JSON format. You can now add a tag or change folder name to read / backup your history files. So this extension can read all histories under your selected folder in any device. The "Sign in to Google Drive" function is restricted for security reason on many browsers. So Google Chrome is still the browser that this extension can serve. I'll keep looking at the solutions for other browsers. The main point of this extension is to persist history records to Google Drive while the local history will be deleted after 90 days. It may be not what you expect but I don't think anything is deceptive.
