The extension does not contain ads or analytics, does not sell user data, and does not monitor browsing history or typing on other websites. Selected webpage text is accessed only after the user deliberately selects text and chooses the TypingTutor practice command from Chrome's context menu. The optional side panel displays extension data and does not read the webpage beside it. TypingTutor.Online can optionally tell the extension which lesson the user is viewing so the extension can offer a resume shortcut; the extension does not send selected text, custom text, weak-key history, personal bests, or practice history back to the website through this bridge.
