TypeWhisper

Dictate into any text field with TypeWhisper and let website workflows match the page you are on.

TypeWhisper for Chrome connects your browser to the TypeWhisper app on your computer. • Dictate into any text field: press Alt+Shift+D, right-click a field and choose "Dictate with TypeWhisper", or turn on the microphone button in text fields. • Website workflows: the extension tells TypeWhisper which page is open in the active tab, so workflows with a website trigger apply. This also works in the Mac App Store edition of TypeWhisper, which cannot read browser addresses on its own. Requirements: TypeWhisper for Mac with the local API server turned on (Settings › Advanced). Paste the API token from TypeWhisper into the extension's popup. Privacy: the extension talks only to TypeWhisper's local API on 127.0.0.1. The address and title of the active tab never leave your computer, and private windows are never shared. You can turn website sharing off in the popup.
