The source stays visible while you type, and the extension advances paragraph by paragraph as you reproduce the content. Built for attentive reading: • Type any article or a selected passage • Work in manageable paragraph-sized chunks • See live progress, accuracy, and typing speed • Ignore capitalization, punctuation, symbols, and spacing • Resume an unfinished session on the same page • Skip a paragraph with Command + Enter on macOS or Ctrl + Enter elsewhere • Keep article text and progress private on your device TypeThrough intentionally disables paste: the act of typing is the exercise. It is a focus and learning aid designed to make attentive reading more likely, not a guarantee of retention. Start TypeThrough from its toolbar icon or press Command + Shift + Y on macOS (Ctrl + Shift + Y elsewhere). Press Escape to close the session.
