Typestamp
Overview
Prove the effort behind your writing on any website.
Typestamp allows you to create proofs of writing effort anywhere on the web. These proofs are known as typestamps. When you start a writing session, it tracks all the keys pressed. After you're done, it encrypts the data and validates your submission. If accepted, you get a link to share your typestamp. Use cases: Typestamp is useful anywhere you need to verify that real effort went into a piece of writing - not just that a finished text exists. - Job applications Hiring teams can ask candidates to write cover letters or short-answer responses through a reference link. The resulting typestamp shows the full keystroke history and time invested, making it easy to distinguish genuine engagement from a text dropped in from elsewhere. - Academic submissions Students can submit essays and written assignments as typestamps. Instructors get a verifiable record of the writing process - including pace, pauses, pasted content, and edits. This is better than getting just the finished document. - Freelance work Writers, journalists, and copywriters can typestamp their deliverables to demonstrate that the content was typed out in full. This is useful when clients want evidence of the work behind the words, not just the words themselves. Freelancers in platforms like Upwork or Fiverr can include typestamps in their proposals to stand out from other freelancers. - Contracts and legal documents For situations where the composition of a written statement matters, a typestamp provides a timestamped, auditable record that the text was produced keystroke by keystroke rather than pasted in. - Publishing and editorial Editors and publications can use references to scope typestamps to a specific assignment, ensuring that a submission represents effort directed at that piece and cannot be recycled from another context. - Social media written posts Thought leaders can typestamp their content to improve credibility on social media. If someone has made a provable effort in writing a piece of content, readers are more likely to read and trust it. - Manual cold outreach Typestamping your manual cold outreach demonstrates to the recipient that you took the time to manually write a message for them. This would likely increase response rates.
