TypeRB Syntax Highlighting for GitHub makes TypeRB code easier to read while browsing repositories and reviewing changes on github.com. No configuration is required. GitHub's built-in syntax highlighting relies on GitHub Linguist. Linguist requires widespread real-world usage across public repositories before a new language or file extension is eligible for inclusion. Until TypeRB reaches that level of adoption, this extension provides syntax highlighting directly in the browser. It highlights: • .trb file views • unified and split pull request diffs • trb and typerb Markdown code blocks • suggestion blocks in TypeRB pull request diffs The extension uses TypeRB's canonical TextMate grammar and preserves syntax state across multiline constructs, providing consistent highlighting across file views and code reviews. The extension runs entirely in the browser, includes no telemetry, and does not download executable code. It requests no optional Chrome API permissions and only runs on github.com.
