Autosave what you type so a crash or closed tab never loses it, and keep your receipts — saved only on this computer.

Typed & Kept keeps two things that are easy to lose: what you were typing, and what you just bought. AUTOSAVE, SO A CRASH NEVER COSTS YOU THE FORM As you type into a text box, text area, or editable field on any page, Typed & Kept quietly keeps a local copy. Close the tab by accident, have the browser crash, or get signed out mid-form — reopen the page and a small "Restore draft" badge appears next to the empty field. Click it, your text comes back. RECEIPTS, KEPT WITHOUT YOU DOING ANYTHING When you land on an order-confirmation or "thank you for your order" page, Typed & Kept recognizes it and saves the order number, total, date, merchant, and a text snapshot — automatically, once per order. Didn't get caught automatically? Press Alt+Shift+R (or use the toolbar button) to save the page you're looking at as a receipt by hand. WHAT IT NEVER SAVES Password fields. Credit card, CVV/CVC, bank account, routing, IBAN/SWIFT, SSN, tax ID, passport and license-number fields. One-time codes and two-factor fields. The username field of a login form. By default, it also never autosaves or automatically captures receipts on a built-in list of bank, brokerage, card, payment, tax, government-benefit, health-portal, and password-manager sites, and you can add your own sites to that list in Options. The one exception is a receipt you save by hand, because that is you asking. WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES On this computer, in this browser profile, in chrome.storage.local — nothing else. There is no Typed & Kept account and no Typed & Kept server. The only thing this extension ever sends over the network is a license-key check with Polar when you enter a Pro key, or roughly every 3 days after that while Pro stays active — not your drafts, not your receipts, not what you typed. FREE AND PRO Free: drafts kept for 7 days, up to 20 saved receipts, no search, no export, no tags. Pro ($9 one-time, via Polar — no subscription): drafts kept for 7, 30, 90, 365 days or forever (your choice), unlimited receipts, search across drafts and receipts, export to JSON or CSV, and tags on receipts. Paste your license key in the popup to unlock it. NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER Install it and use it. There's nothing to sign up for. The extension works fully offline except for the Pro license check described above. HOW TO START 1. Install Typed & Kept. 2. Keep typing as you normally would — there's nothing to turn on. 3. If a tab closes or a page reloads, look for the "Restore draft" badge next to the field. 4. After an order, check the toolbar popup's Receipts tab, or press Alt+Shift+R on the confirmation page to save it yourself. 5. Open Options to add sites to pause on or adjust retention (Pro); "Delete everything stored" in the popup removes every saved draft and receipt.
