ERGONOMIC DASH ENGINE • Single Hyphen (-): Strictly preserved as a standard hyphen. Never hijacked in body text, hyphenated words, markdown lists, or mathematical formulas. • Double Hyphen (--): Automatically converts to an en dash (–). Works with spaces (word -- word → word – word) or closed (word--word → word–word). • Triple Hyphen (---): Automatically converts to an em dash (—).
