Type Finder
Overview
Right-click to find out what font a website is using.
**Type Finder** is a lightweight Chrome extension that helps designers, developers, and font nerds instantly identify the fonts used on any website. Just right-click any text and choose **“Check Font.”** A small popup will display: - Font family (as declared by the site) - Font size - Font weight - Font color - CSS snippet (click to copy) Type Finder also includes quick links to: - Search for the font on Google Fonts - Search for the font on Google - Support the creator via Ko-fi --- 🧠 **Note:** This extension reads the font the site *claims* to be using. If that font isn’t actually loaded, your browser may quietly swap in a fallback — and Type Finder will still show the declared one. --- 👤 Created by Studio Tom Rowland ❤️ Built with care (and probably some caffeine)
