WHERE IT WORKS Typance works in the editable fields of the web pages you already write in: Gmail and other webmails, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, support chats, comment boxes, forms, and most rich text editors. TWO MODES • Typos only — fixes spelling, grammar and punctuation while keeping your words. • Typos + rephrasing — also clarifies and improves the wording. Switch anytime from the extension popup. DATA & PRIVACY (what is collected and how) • Account: your email and first name, used only to create and secure your account. • The text you select: when — and only when — you click the Typance button, the selected text is sent over a secure connection to Typance's own server and to a third-party AI provider solely to generate the correction. It is discarded right after, never stored on your account, and never used to train any AI model. • Typance does NOT read the pages you browse, does NOT monitor keystrokes, and does NOT track or record your browsing.
