Typally turns your calls in Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom into notes you did not have to write: a summary, the key topics and the action items, with the full transcript beside them. No bot joins the call. It works with the Typally desktop app for Windows and Mac. The app records the call on your own computer. This extension tells it when you join a call in your browser and when you leave, so the recording starts and stops by itself. WHAT YOU GET • Notes after every call: the gist in a sentence or two, then a summary, the key topics and the action items, with the owner of each task where one was named. • Talk time: the minutes and the share of the talking for each side of the call, and a strip that shows when in the call they spoke. • A transcript by name: when the call's captions show who is speaking, every line has that person's name on it. Anna, Daniel and Sam, not "Speaker 1" and "Speaker 2". • A library of your meetings: one line on what was decided, who was there, and how many action items came out of it. Search by title, summary or person. • Nothing to start or stop: recording begins when you join and ends when you leave. The notes open in a new tab when they are ready. • One click copies the notes or the whole transcript, ready to paste into an email, a doc or a ticket. Typally records the sound of the call on your computer. • The extension talks to one place only: the Typally app on your own machine (127.0.0.1). It sends nothing anywhere else. • On a meeting page it checks two things: whether the page has the microphone, and whether a call is connected. Where the page shows live captions and you have switched them on, it also reads them, to put names in the transcript. • Transcripts and notes are saved on your computer. Typally keeps no copy of them. • To turn the call into text and notes, the Typally app sends the audio and the transcript over an encrypted connection to its AI provider, for that request only.
