TxShot is a lightweight screenshot and screen-recording extension that works locally in your browser. Capture exactly what you need using visible-area, full-page, or selected-area screenshot modes. You can also record a browser tab, application window, or entire screen without uploading your content to an external server. Key features: • Capture the visible area of the current webpage • Capture an entire scrolling webpage • Select and capture a specific region • Save screenshots as PNG or JPG • Record a browser tab, window, or entire screen • Include tab or system audio when available • Optionally include microphone audio • Pause, resume, and stop recordings • Preview captures before downloading • Automatically or manually download files • Save recordings locally as WebM • No account, cloud storage, analytics, or uploads Privacy: TxShot processes screenshots and recordings locally on your device. Your captured content is not uploaded to TxShot servers. Some recording and audio options depend on the source selected in Chrome’s sharing window and the permissions granted by the user.
