Overview

Focus on one X post at a time. Navigate, reply, like, vote, repost, mute and block with keyboard shortcuts.

Read X one post at a time, with your hands on the keyboard. X Focus Mode highlights the selected post, brings it to the center of the screen, and softens the surrounding feed. A shortcut reference takes the place of the right sidebar, so the controls stay within reach. TURN IT ON Press Alt+Z or click Focus mode. Press Alt+Z again to return to the normal feed. MOVE THROUGH THE FEED • WASD / arrow keys: move between posts, quotes, and images • W / Up and S / Down: previous or next post or reply • A / Left and D / Right: previous or next quote, or carousel image • Space: open the selected post • Esc: go back from a post, or exit focus mode Quoted posts are separate navigation stops. Connected posts in a reply chain stay visible at full opacity. ACT ON THE SELECTED POST • F: like or unlike • R: repost or undo; press again while the menu is opening to cancel • Q: open the quote composer • C: open the reply composer • 1–4: vote for that poll option on the selected post • V: mute the author • B: block the author Mute and block run immediately through X's web API using your existing signed-in session. They do not open a menu or ask for confirmation. Pressing again does not unmute or unblock. CONTROL MEDIA • A / Left and D / Right: navigate quotes first, then image carousels • M: mute or unmute video • E: open an image viewer or video fullscreen In the image viewer, A and D move between images. FITS YOUR FEED Physical letter keys work across keyboard layouts. Shortcuts pause while you type or use post dialogs. The shortcut panel follows X's light, dim, and dark appearance. PRIVACY No analytics, ads, developer servers, or background tracking. The extension runs only on X and Twitter pages. It reads the visible page to navigate posts; mute and block use the X session cookie and send the selected author's account ID directly to X over HTTPS. An in-memory author-ID cache is cleared when the page is closed or reloaded. User data is not sent to the developer or sold. Independent extension; not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp. X can change its page structure or web API, which may affect individual shortcuts. An X account is needed for account actions. Existing posts may remain visible after mute or block until the feed refreshes.
