Revisit the look of Twitter from 2006 through 2014 while using your current X account. Twitter Eras is an unofficial browser extension that replaces supported pages on x.com and twitter.com with selectable recreations of nine historical interfaces. Choose any year from 2006 through 2014 using the toolbar popup or the historical Design page. Disable the extension at any time to return to native X. Features include: - Nine individually selectable Twitter eras. - Historical home, profile, Tweet, search, Direct Message, notification, discovery, follower, media, List, saved-search, and settings views. - Era-appropriate Retweets, including manual `RT @author` presentation before 2009. - Compose, reply, favorite, Retweet, bookmark, follow, List subscription, search, and pagination controls connected to their current X equivalents. - Native X fallbacks for sign-in, security, account management, List editing, and modern-only products. The extension runs on X and Twitter domains and requests content directly from X using the browser's existing signed-in session. It does not ask for or store your password, operate a developer-owned data server, include analytics, or display advertising. Only the selected era, enabled state, and temporary recommendation-dismissal identifiers are stored. A signed-in X account is required for live account content. Because X can change its web services, some live-data features may occasionally require an extension update.
