Full description Twitch VOD Timecodes automatically creates chapter markers for Twitch VOD pages — with timestamps and titles you can copy, save, and view directly on the video seekbar. What it does On any Twitch VOD page (twitch.tv/videos/...), click Generate timecodes. The extension will: Download the VOD audio from Twitch Transcribe it with Deepgram Analyze the transcript with Google Gemini to detect topic changes and generate chapter titles Show chapter markers on the Twitch player timeline Let you copy timecodes to the clipboard or view saved timecodes from the extension popup Chapter titles follow your Twitch UI language. How it works (APIs used) This extension does not include built-in API access. You must add your own keys in Settings: Deepgram API Speech-to-text transcription Google Gemini API Chapter detection and timecodes generation from the transcript — Audio is sent to Deepgram; the resulting transcript is sent to Gemini. API keys are stored locally in your browser via extension storage and are never sent anywhere except to the respective API providers. You can add up to 5 API keys for Deepgram and up to 5 for Gemini. If one key hits a rate limit, the extension automatically tries the next one. Deepgram free credit. Deepgram offers a $200 free starting credit for new accounts. When that credit runs out, Deepgram will stop accepting requests for that account. To continue using the extension, you will need to: Register a new Deepgram account using a different email address Receive the new free credit on that account Create a new API key in the Deepgram Console Enter the new key in the extension Settings (replace or add it alongside your existing keys) This is a limitation of Deepgram’s billing model, not the extension itself. Gemini — regional availability The Google Gemini API may be unavailable in some regions (for example, from certain country IP addresses). If you see a region-related error, connect to a VPN (US or EU is usually recommended) and try again. A free Gemini API key from Google AI Studio is required. Usage limits depend on Google’s current free-tier policy.
