Twitch VOD Archive

Use Twitch VOD Archive to auto download your streams - save old twitch vods, watch deleted vods from disk and track deletion dates.

🎬 Every broadcast lives on a timer: 7 days on a fresh channel, 14 for affiliates, 60 for partners, and since February 2025 highlights are also capped at 100 hours. When the timer ends, the recording is gone forever, and no button on the site brings it back. Twitch vod archive is a browser helper that watches every deadline and saves every broadcast to your disk in time. 🖥️ The twitch vod archive extension connects to your own channel over OAuth, shows the exact deletion date for every recording and turns the manual download button into an automatic queue. It works as a twitch vod downloader that lands files on your disk in original quality - no re-encoding, no cloud uploads, no extra accounts to create. 📝 How to save twitch streams before they disappear? Three simple steps: 1️⃣ Install the extension from the chrome web store and connect your channel. 2️⃣ Open the deletion calendar and pick a recording, a group of streams or the whole channel. 3️⃣ Let the queue run overnight - in the morning all your mp4 files are already waiting in the folder you picked. ⏳ Downloading videos from twitch by hand is slow: the button has to be pressed for every single recording, and one missed day costs you the file for good. Searching how to save streaming video twitch keeps for a limited time? The queue saves the whole channel by itself and shows a forecast of disk space and time. 🥷 Key features: 💡 One click archive button on every vod card - a ready mp4 lands in your folder. 💡 The calendar marks each recording three days before it disappears. 💡 Auto mode saves new broadcasts the moment they appear - no clicks needed. 💡 Resume of interrupted downloads, even after chrome restarts or a laptop reboot. 💡 Twitch to mp4 conversion keeps the original bitrate, nothing is re-encoded. 📦 Wondering how to save vods on twitch while you sleep? The helper lives in your browser: your vods are queued while chrome is open, and every file is named by date and quality, so nothing gets lost in the folder. 🌟 More reasons streamers install it: 🔹 People who keep a twitch vod viewer tab open just to rewatch a match can open the local mp4 instead - it plays in any player. 🔹 Downloads run in the background while you stream, chat and edit in other tabs. 🔹 Catch vods twitch is about to remove: the badge shows the exact date and time. 🔹 Esports teams build a twitch vods archive of their matches and review it from disk. 🧭 Old twitch vods are only safe if a copy exists before the deadline. People keep googling how to save your streams on twitch after the broadcast is already gone - the honest answer is that nothing can be recovered later. Let the queue grab your recordings while they still exist on the platform. 🧠 How the twitch vods archive you build stays useful: ➤ A twitch deleted vods archive cannot be restored from the site - only your disk copy survives. ➤ The twitch vod archives fill up on schedule and keep the original quality, ready to watch offline. ➤ Every vod twitch deletes too soon - your local copy does not. ✅ What makes it stand out: 1. Everything stays local - nothing is uploaded anywhere. 2. Works while chrome is open, no desktop app required. 3. Built for non technical creators - a five minute setup from start to finish. 4. Works with old uploads - backfill the whole library in one run. 🚀 Install the twitch vod archive once and stop racing the deletion clock. 👆🏻 Click add to chrome and let every stream stay yours forever.
