Twitch Team Badges
Overview
Recognize Twitch team members in chat with custom badges, plus optional tools for moderators.
Twitch Team Badges Identify members of your Twitch teams directly in chat with customizable badges. Twitch Team Badges lets you assign an emoji badge to each Twitch team you follow. Team members are automatically recognized in chat, making it easy to see who belongs to which teams while watching or moderating a channel. TEAM BADGES • Add multiple public Twitch teams using their team URL. • Give each team its own emoji badge and display name. • Show badges next to matching usernames in Twitch chat. • Display multiple badges when someone belongs to multiple configured teams. • View the current members of each team directly in the extension. • Edit team names and badges whenever you want. • Refresh team membership manually or automatically once per day. • Works in Twitch chat, popout chat, and moderator views. The extension retrieves public team membership information and keeps a local copy so team badges can be displayed quickly in chat. MODERATOR TOOLS Twitch Team Badges also adds tools designed for Twitch moderators. QUICK SHOUTOUTS Team badges can optionally be used as quick shoutout actions for moderators. • Click a team badge in moderator view to prepare a shoutout. • Use the shoutout action in the Twitch user-details panel. • Start a shoutout directly from a raid alert. Shoutout actions only prepare or insert the Twitch /shoutout command. They never send messages automatically. RAID ALERTS When a raid appears in chat, the extension can display an alert containing: • The raiding channel • The incoming viewer count • A button to start a shoutout • A button to copy the shoutout command • A dismiss button Raid alerts appear in moderator view and disappear automatically after a short time. PRIVACY Twitch Team Badges does not require a Twitch login. Your configured team URLs, badge settings, refresh schedule, and cached team membership data are stored locally in Chrome. The extension contains no advertising or analytics and does not send this information to the developer. The extension only communicates with Twitch to retrieve public team membership data and to provide its features on Twitch pages. COMPATIBILITY Twitch Team Badges works with public Twitch teams available at URLs in this format: https://www.twitch.tv/team/teamname Private, deleted, unavailable, or malformed team pages cannot be loaded. No separate account or team registration is required. Twitch Team Badges is an independent browser extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch. It relies on Twitch's public team service and web interface, so functionality may change if Twitch changes its API or chat interface.
