Unmuting Muted Tabs
Is there a way to unmute the tabs that this extension mutes when the "Tabs are muted" toggle is switched on?
I like having them open muted, but once I go to watch, I cant figure out how to unmute the tab.

Volume
It would be nice to have a field to preset a volume percentage. For example 10% and the tabs that open will be set to 10% volume automatically.

Tabs are mutued when I have selected them not to be
Hey mate, LOVE this extension the only thing i cant work out is that when the tabs are opened, all the twitch streams are silenced. Is this a twitch thing or something to do with the extension? I only bring this up because it seems my lurk doesnt count as a view if the browser is muted.

Regardless of the stream volume when i close the stream, the lurker extension 100% of the time launched it with the stream mute, which like the original poster states muted streams do not count as views.. (I do not have tabs muted.)

Sorry for the very late response. Chrome doesn't notify me of these for whatever reason.
Anyway, this is partly to do with Twitch and partly the extension. In general, when a Twitch stream gets opened, it will be muted/unmuted depending on whether you had the most recent stream muted/unmuted. Twitch just saves that preference of yours whenever you mute/unmute a stream, and then the next stream that gets opened will behave the same way. To ensure the stream is unmuted, you can make sure that you don't mute the Twitch player yourself on other streams.
Regardless, the extension does try to unmute the stream if possible, but sometimes it is impossible. E.g. I believe that the browser will prevent the stream from being unmuted if you have not interacted with the page at all. Basically if you don't click anything on the page, the browser prevents audio from playing, since that is often abused by pop up sites and malicious ads. You can try to avoid this by having the streams open as active windows (instead of in the background). This is a preference in the extension.

I'm having the same issue. Not only the tab is muted (that is supposed to happen) but the stream is muted as well

Hi can you add a few features to your extension?
1. Add a choice of broadcast quality 1080p/720p/360p/160p. Now forcibly switches to SOURCE, even if you change to another.
2. Ability to open tabs in a new window.
3. Close tabs on which the end of the stream. This will add autonomy to the extension.
4. Prioritize groups, go to the more important and disable less important at this time.

Thanks for the suggestions. These have been added to the issues list on GitHub. I'll try to include some of them when I work on the extension.

I believe that I've contacted you before.
But recently it seems allowing Twitch streams to load in the background results in a constant loading black Twitch screen with the loading white circle, THis problem does not reproduce when they open in a fore-facing window. Also, tested on both Vivaldi and Brave browsers with the same results. Recent issue past 24-48 hours.

I believe I responded to you about this in an email, but I just saw this support request now. I will be looking into this when I migrate the extension to manifest V3 within the next few weeks.

It mutes the player every other tab.
I noticed every other tab is muted, maybe because it tries mute every tab using the player, so once one is opened and unmutes, the other gets muted (since twitch saves the state from the last mute toggle). There could be an option to disable automatic mute/unmute player (not tab) since we can mute all tabs at once with chrome (which persists through every new tab opened). With edge it would be nice to mute the tab itself instead muting the player.
Twitch won't recognize you a viewer if the player is muted.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean here, because the extension does not mute the player. The only thing that the extension does is mute the tab, and it tries to unmute the player (never mute). Did I misunderstand something or does that clear it up?

Hi!
How are you?
I would suggest if possible to add a field to send a custom message in the twitch chat of the lurker streamers at a custom time interval as well.
Help twitch recognize the active viewer to keep correct the number of viewers watching the live!
Thanks!
Happy 2023!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd be worried about this extension receiving a C&D from Twitch if that were to be done.
