Twitch Follower Count extension

Shows follower counts on Twitch stream cards — just like viewer counts!

# How to Use This extension displays Twitch follower counts directly alongside the viewer count on stream cards. ## Setup Instructions ### 1. Create a Twitch Developer Application Go to the Twitch Developer Console and create a new application. During setup: * Fill in the required application details * Add `http://localhost` as the Redirect URL * Enable the **Confidential** option * Save the application --- ### 2. Copy Your Client ID After creating the application: * Open your application settings * Copy the **Client ID** * Paste it into the extension settings --- ### 3. Generate a Client Secret Inside the same Twitch application: * Generate a new **Client Secret** * Copy the generated secret * Paste it into the extension settings --- ### 4. Enable the Extension After entering both credentials: * Click **Save** * Enable the extension The extension will now start displaying follower counts directly on Twitch stream cards. --- ## Why This Setup Is Required This extension uses your own Twitch developer credentials to make API requests directly through your Twitch application. This approach is: * More secure * Does not rely on shared public keys * Helps avoid global API rate limits * Allows higher request limits on your own developer account Your credentials are used locally within the extension and are not stored or transmitted to external servers.
