Twitch Ambient Light

Smooth ambient light around Twitch streams. Adjustable blur, spread and intensity. No effect in fullscreen.

Extend stream colours beyond the player. Twitch Ambient Light creates a continuous, soft glow across Twitch: around the video, channel list, chat and stream description. The light follows the image while preserving the original video size. Make the effect your own: • adjustable blur, spread and intensity; • brightness and saturation; • rendering quality and update rate; • normal and Theater layouts; • light, dark or default appearance; • glass backgrounds for pinned messages, predictions, polls and Hype Train; • English and Russian controls. Optional quality recovery for public live streams is off by default. When enabled, the project server receives the channel name and your IP address to retrieve quality metadata; Twitch OAuth is not forwarded, and video and segments still come directly from Twitch CDN. Recovery may reload the player once if needed. This feature depends on the broadcast and codec. Open settings using the light-bulb button inside the player. Ambient light switches off in fullscreen. Conservative compatibility mode reduces styling interference with other extensions. Compatibility with every third-party version is not guaranteed. The extension is free and contains no advertising, partner offers, sponsored branding or supporter codes. Twitch ads and other extensions’ ads are not blocked or replaced. Frames are processed locally. Video, audio, chat and Twitch OAuth are not sent to our server. There is no advertising telemetry or extension usage analytics. Only when optional quality recovery is enabled does the server receive the current public channel name and connection IP to retrieve quality metadata. See the privacy policy for details.
