Overview

Opens any X post in the tweet.download editor in one click, then save it as an image, video, or a GIF

Open the X post you are reading in the tweet.download editor, in one click. Click the toolbar button while a post is on screen. It opens in a new tab in the editor, with the post already rendered and ready to save as an image or a video. No copying the link, no pasting it somewhere else. The editor is free and needs no account: https://tweet.download The card is rebuilt from the post's own data rather than cropped from a screenshot. The text stays sharp at any size, the layout matches what you see on X, and there are no browser edges around it. Choose a light or dark theme, set the background and padding, and add your own watermark if you want one. Downloads have no watermark of ours on them. Everything is drawn in your own browser, so the post never leaves your device. The editor can pass a finished render to BulkPublish to schedule it: https://www.bulkpublish.com What this extension can see: One permission, activeTab. The browser grants it only at the moment you click the button, and only for that one tab. It reads that tab's address so it knows which post you meant, and nothing else — no page content, no browsing history, no background access, no analytics, no account. It runs no code on the pages you visit and makes no network requests of its own. How to use it 1. Open a post on x.com. 2. Click the button in the toolbar. 3. The editor opens with the post loaded. Pick a format and download it. Also works with twitter.com links and posts opened in the photo viewer.
