Overview
Opens x.com and twitter.com status links as a fast, plain, native-feeling tweet view.
twall is a browser extension that catches links to individual X posts and renders the post itself: the author, the text, the media, the quoted post, the time and the counts. No login wall, no sign-up interstitial, no feed, no recommendations, and no JavaScript from X. It reads Twitter's public syndication endpoint, the same one that powers embedded posts on other websites, so a post costs exactly one request. There is no framework, no bundler, no dependency and no remote code. The whole viewer is around 30 KB of hand written HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
