Overview
Secures Exam environment. Monitors system during Online Exams.
Tutelage SentinelExam Guard — Secure Exam Browser Extension Tutelage SentinelExam Guard locks down the Chrome browser during online exams conducted on SentinelExamOS — An Assessment Engine by Tutelage (go4assessment.com). It ensures exam integrity by preventing cheating, unauthorized access, and data leakage during proctored assessments. WHAT IT DOES: - Closes all other browser tabs when an exam starts - Blocks opening new tabs during the exam - Scans installed extensions and flags suspicious ones (AI tools, screen recorders, cheating aids) - Detects virtual machines, remote access tools, and screen capture software - Detects Intel AMT and hardware-level remote management - Monitors multiple displays and blocks secondary monitors - Scans for suspicious network connections on known remote access ports - Detects local AI/LLM tools (Ollama, LM Studio, etc.) - Detects suspicious USB devices (capture cards, rubber duckies) - Detects VPN and tethering connections - Enforces fullscreen mode throughout the exam - Prevents copy, paste, right-click, and keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, F12, PrintScreen) - Continuously monitors the system every 30 seconds during the exam - Enables real-time violation reporting to proctor during live proctored exams WHO IS IT FOR: This extension is required for candidates taking online exams on SentinelExamOS — An Assessment Engine by Tutelage. It is used by educational institutions, certification bodies, and recruitment companies that conduct secure online assessments. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Install the extension 2. Go to your exam URL on go4assessment.com 3. The preflight checks automatically detect the extension 4. System security checks run before the exam starts 5. During the exam, the extension continuously monitors and enforces security 6. When the exam ends, all restrictions are automatically released OPTIONAL NATIVE HOST: For deeper system checks (process scanning, USB detection, firewall lockdown, AI tool detection), candidates can install an optional native messaging host. This is a lightweight script provided by the exam administrator. Without it, the extension still provides browser-level security (tab blocking, fullscreen enforcement, display detection, extension scanning). PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED: - tabs: Required to close other tabs and prevent new tab creation during exams - nativeMessaging: Required for OS-level security checks via the optional native host - system.display: Required to detect multiple monitors - management: Required to scan installed extensions and flag suspicious ones (AI tools, screen recorders) - Host permissions (go4assessment.com): The extension only activates on the exam platform PRIVACY: This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. System scan results are only shared with the exam platform during active exam sessions. No data is sent to third parties. The extension is completely inactive outside of exam sessions on go4assessment.com. SUPPORT: For technical support, contact your exam administrator or visit go4assessment.com.
