TuneBlitz – Lightweight DAW Extension TuneBlitz is a lightweight yet powerful Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) built directly into your browser. It offers a clean, intuitive interface that makes audio recording, editing, and rendering fast and effortless. Record from your microphone or any active browser tab. The extension automatically detects HTML audio and video elements and can synchronize recording with playback—starting and stopping seamlessly along with the media. Each recording is stored in raw float32 format inside IndexedDB, ensuring your audio remains available whenever you reopen the extension. Transport controls include Record, Play, Pause, Stop, and Loop. Instead of a global master fader, TuneBlitz offers a dedicated Volume Boost DSP effect that lets you increase output level during playback and rendering when you need extra loudness. The interface includes precise time displays for total duration and selection length, plus a detailed waveform view that allows interactive playback and region selection. Click anywhere on the waveform to start playback; define, resize and move sections across the full waveform. If a selection exists, it can be played or rendered. Right-click opens a context menu with quick actions such as clearing a selection or drawing a BPM-based metronome grid (4/4) from the first downbeat to help with slicing. A beautiful stereo RMS meter gives clear visual feedback for monitoring levels. TuneBlitz also includes a full suite of audio DSP tools accessible via a floating panel. Add and chain effects freely, including Volume, Compressor, 3-band EQ, Lowpass, Highpass and Bandpass filters, Fade In/Fade Out with multiple curve types, Delay/Echo, Reverb with 10 IR presets, and Pitch and Formant controls. Render to WAV (16- or 32-bit), MP3 (adjustable bitrate) or OGG (adjustable quality). DSP modules use a drag-and-drop wiring model so you can build any processing chain in any order. Ideal for quick voice recording, sound design, or enhancing online videos with professional effects, TuneBlitz gives you DAW-level control without ever leaving your browser.
