TubVox lets you listen to supported YouTube videos and live streams in your preferred language from a Chrome side panel. Choose source and output languages, select a natural AI voice, and start synchronized dubbing without leaving YouTube. For standard videos, TubVox loads available captions, prepares translated narration, and keeps playback, seeking, pause/resume, transcript history, speed, and voice controls tied to the active YouTube tab. For live streams, TubVox can capture the active tab after permission and deliver translated audio through the configured real-time provider. Live translation consumes Live Premium minutes. Availability depends on the video's captions, supported languages, provider availability, and the user's plan. YouTube Shorts are not currently supported. Live tab audio capture starts only after the user grants permission and stops when the Live session is stopped. TubVox processes captions, selected video metadata, and—only during a user-started Live session—the captured tab audio needed to provide translation and dubbing.
