Explore: keep discovery available while hiding Shorts shelves and end-screen recommendations. TAKE A PEEK, COME BACK AUTOMATICALLY Need a comment, a recommendation or another hidden part of the page? Peek for 60 seconds to temporarily reveal it. Your selected view returns automatically, even after you close the popup. End the peek early whenever you are ready. Your recipe and focus deadline stay intact. SET ASIDE TIME TO WATCH Start a 15, 30, 45 or 60 minute focus session with a live countdown and progress indicator. Sessions follow your selected recipe. Starting from custom controls temporarily uses Watch, then restores your saved switches when the session ends. FINE-TUNE YOUR VIEW Individually control the home feed, sidebar menu, Shorts shelves, comments, suggested videos, end-screen cards and video details. You can also open Shorts links in the regular video player instead of the scrolling Shorts interface. These controls hide page elements; they do not block access to videos or remove ads. MAKE IT YOURS Use light, dark or system appearance. Export your settings as a backup and import them later. Preferences sync through Chrome when Chrome sync is available; temporary peeks stay on this browser. Keyboard controls and reduced-motion support are included. Open YouTube and choose Learn, Watch or Explore. 3. Adjust your controls, start a focus session or take a temporary peek. TubeFocus works on the desktop YouTube website.
