When installed, Tube-U Boost: - Speeds up your analysis workflow - Reduces your credit usage by up to 3x on every analysis - Caches data locally for faster repeat analyses - Processes multiple videos in parallel SKIP SPONSOR SEGMENTS While you watch a video on YouTube, Tube-U Boost skips past creator-read sponsor reads — the "this video is brought to you by" breaks inside the content itself. It does this by moving the player forward, exactly as you would by dragging the scrubber. Nothing is downloaded, and the video itself is never altered. A notice appears when a segment is skipped, with an Undo link that returns you to where you were and leaves that segment alone for the rest of the video. This does not block, hide, or interfere with YouTube's own advertising. RIGHT-CLICK MENU (on YouTube) Right-click any video and open the "Tube-U" menu to: - Summarize the video into a concise, private summary - Rate its quality (substance, evidence, originality, title honesty) before you commit to watching - Add it to a queue, then build one combined research report from everything you collected HOW IT WORKS 1. Install this extension 2. Sign in to your Tube-U account at tube-u.com 3. Tube-U automatically detects the extension and enables Boost mode 4. Analyze videos as usual — everything runs faster and costs fewer credits PRIVACY - Does not track your browsing, collect passwords, or access personal data - To skip sponsor segments, the extension runs a script on YouTube watch pages. It reads the video ID from the page address and asks tube-u.com which parts of that video are sponsor reads.
