Tube Flip

Rotate and flip YouTube videos right from the player controls.

Tube Flip adds three small buttons to the YouTube player controls, next to the Settings gear: • Rotate — each click turns the video 90° clockwise (0° → 90° → 180° → 270°). At 90° and 270° the video is scaled to stay inside the player. • Flip horizontal — mirror the video left-to-right. • Flip vertical — mirror the video top-to-bottom. Rotation and flip work together, so you can fix footage that was recorded sideways or mirrored. The controls appear automatically on YouTube watch pages (youtube.com/watch). They are re-added after you navigate to another video, and the view resets when you open a new video. Privacy: this extension does not collect, store, or transmit any data. It has no background servers, no analytics, and no account. It only changes how the video is displayed in your own browser using a CSS transform. 📍 What's new in 1.0.1 • Fixed: the rotate and flip buttons now appear even when you open a video from the home page, search results, or the sidebar — no page refresh needed. • The controls are cleaned up properly when you leave a watch page. • No new permissions.
