Furigana Tsukeru

High-accuracy furigana for Japanese text with EZFurigana. Includes dictionary lookup, vocab saving, and text-to-speech.

Read Japanese webpages with furigana, dictionary tools, and vocabulary practice. Tsukeru adds hiragana readings above kanji while keeping the original text in place, then helps you save and review the words you encounter. FEATURES • Furigana for Japanese webpages Add readings above kanji without changing the page. Long pages stay fast: text is processed as you scroll. • Dictionary in your language Click an annotated word for its meaning, part of speech, JLPT level, examples, kanji details, and audio. Definitions are available in English, easy Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese, with AI translation for untranslated entries (subject to daily limits). • My Words and Study mode New kanji words you look up are saved to Learning; mark them Known when you've got them. Hide furigana for Known words, or use Study mode to hide readings until you click. Sync with EZFurigana to review your words on the website. • Words in this text Browse words processed on the current page and jump back to where they appear. • CSV export for Anki Export your My Words lists as CSV files to import into Anki for review. CSV files are generated in your browser. • JLPT filtering and highlighting Hide readings for easier kanji while keeping furigana for more difficult levels. Colour-code words by JLPT level or part of speech. • Interface languages and display settings Choose English, Japanese, Korean, or Traditional Chinese for the interface, or follow your browser's language. Switch between light and dark themes, and adjust furigana size, weight, colour, and reading style. • Dynamic-page support Process newly loaded content on sites such as YouTube, X, and Reddit when dynamic processing is enabled. PRIVACY Tsukeru does not send page text until you choose Apply, use the keyboard shortcut, or select the context-menu action. When dynamic processing is enabled, nearby new content may continue to be processed after Apply. Settings and My Words are stored in your browser. While an EZFurigana page is open, My Words syncs with the website. Japanese text, dictionary or AI translation lookup terms, and submitted reading reports are sent to the EZFurigana service only when needed for those features. CSV export happens in your browser. The extension contains no advertising or third-party analytics.
