TrustFall is a free scam checker for Chrome. It warns you about phishing pages, fake websites, scam emails, texts and DMs, and suspicious links before you click, type or pay. HOW IT WORKS TrustFall looks at the page you are on, the links on it, and the message or post you are reading. It checks them against a threat list of over millions known scam domains, updated every day, runs scam-pattern checks on your computer, and asks an AI for a second opinion when a page looks unfamiliar. If something is wrong, a small card appears on the page: red for a known scam, amber for "be careful". Clean pages show nothing. WHAT IT CATCHES - Phishing pages that imitate banks, delivery companies, streaming services and login screens - Fake shops, prize and giveaway scams, "your payment failed" pages - Scam messages on social platforms and in your inbox: urgency, gift cards, upfront fees, one-time code requests - Links that go to brand-new domains registered in the last 7 days - Contracts, leases and terms of service with one-sided clauses (the Review a Document check) CHECK ANYTHING YOURSELF Paste a text, email or link into the popup, select text on any page and right-click "Check with TrustFall", or review a document. You get a plain-language verdict with the reasons. NEW IN 1.3 - Checks pages that show no warning signs too: on sites TrustFall doesn't know, and on sites where people post their own content, such as Facebook, LinkedIn or YouTube, the post or the open message thread. These results show amber at most, never red. - Page checks also use whether a site's domain was registered in the last 7 days, worked out on your computer; only yes or no is sent. - A new way of reporting the scam. - A "Your TrustFall" page with your last 7 days, where you can trust a site or ask TrustFall to always check it. - Checks again when a single-page app moves to a new page or the content changes a lot. CHANGED IN 1.3.1 - When the online check does not finish, the page says "Local checks only" instead of showing a check mark. - Page text is read without form fields and hidden elements, and more email, phone and number formats are replaced before page text is sent.
