Trufflepiggy - Quick Search

The right-click functions to search Baidu, Yandex, Google, Bing and TinyEye, literally none of them work, as of 6/11/23. They either give no results or an error. Meanwhile, this extension puts a little piggy nose next to everything I click on or select, even text, which is really annoying. The only function that works is if you click on the extension and do a search from there. It's the only reason I'm not giving this 1 star.

Dear Joel Kelly, it would have been more helpful to contact me via support. Beside the currently not working Google Reverse Image search, where a fix will be added with the soon to be released next update, all other reverse image searches work. I just tried it right now. Maybe you tried it on a local image or protected image that can't be accessed online. The piggy nose helps you to instantly access your favourite search-items. When you select text you just click on it and an overlay opens where you can not only access all your selected search-items but could also dynamiclally load other search-items from our database. But of course the nose could have been turned off in the options. Then you still could use the extension icon or the extension short cuts to open the overlay. So maybe you wanna try it again. The Google image fix should be released soon. All the best, Clemens

Great extension. Nearly all aspects can be customized and once the setup is done it's extremely useful. Highly recommended. Look forward to the custom reverse image search feature

Hi Ameya, thank you very much for the review and kind words. QS v1.9 is currently testing and once done the editor update including customizable image search-items will be next.

You should add minimalistic options such as removing hints, extras and the footer.

Simply amazing. One of the most useful extensions I have ever had the pleasure of using , and that's really saying something because I'm something of an extension junkie.. more of a extension-hopper, in the same way that one might be a distro-hopper in the linux community, though admitedly, it doesn't have the same ring to it. That's more boosted than 'Instant Multi Search' chrome extension, and works well the same as 'Web Search Pro' firefox addon. Best regards.

I deleted all but Yandex and Google Image search but right click context meny keeps showing 5 with Baidu on top!!!!

Dear Okita, I'm sad to see that this is the reason why you gave it a 1 star rating. As I explained in my support email to you - the image reverse searches are hardcoded right now because they require a different editor setup. All your daily text searches can be fully customized but when right clicking on an image you can't change the default selection yet. This will come in a future update. Have a nice day, Clemens

Dear Shahin, I'm the developer of this extension. I'm sorry to hear that. Right now all systems are working fine. There are no open bugs.
