A Chrome extension for journalists and others to check whether a picture is AI-generated.

Some pictures were never taken. A listing looks real. A headline looks real. A DM looks real. That is not enough. True Byline tells you if a photo is real or AI — right in Chrome, where the picture already is. Right-click any image and get a clear answer before you act on it. When it helps • Shopping — before you buy something that only exists as a photo • News & research — before you trust a picture in a story or tip • Social & DMs — before you share, forward, or reply • Moderation — when your team needs a fast real-or-AI read • Everyday doubt — when your eyes alone are not enough True Byline does not replace your judgement.
