TruAPI is a modern REST API client that turns Chrome into a focused, full-page API testing workspace. Build, send, and debug requests without switching to a heavyweight desktop application. Work across multiple request tabs, configure query parameters, headers, and authentication, and send JSON, XML, URL-encoded, raw-text, or multipart form-data bodies—including file uploads. Import cURL commands, reuse environment variables, organize requests into named collections, and restore your workspace later. TruAPI makes large responses easier to inspect with syntax-colored output, fast search, match navigation, response metadata, and collapsible JSON objects and arrays. View the response body, headers, cookies, or structured preview from the same side-by-side workspace. TruAPI sends requests only to endpoints selected by the user. Request tabs, drafts, history, collections, settings, and environment values are stored locally in the browser profile. Authentication values are excluded from automatic tab, draft, and history storage. TruAPI does not send API credentials, request data, or responses to a developer-operated analytics server.
