Overview
Search tabs, browser bookmarks and history, run browser commands, and save webpages and social posts locally—no account.
TroveKey is a keyboard-first Chrome productivity extension for researchers, developers, students, writers, and anyone who keeps many tabs open or saves useful content for later. Open one command palette to find tabs, search Chrome bookmarks and browsing history, run browser actions, and organize a local library of saved webpages and social posts. Privacy disclosure: TroveKey reads tab information, bookmarks, browsing history, and webpage or post content only when needed for a feature the user requests. This data is processed and stored locally in the current browser. It is not uploaded to TroveKey servers, sold, or used for advertising. TroveKey does not collect cookies, login tokens, or hidden feed data. What you can do: - Tab search for Chrome: find and switch open tabs by title, URL, or domain without leaving the keyboard. - Chrome bookmark manager: search, open, create, or remove browser bookmarks from the same interface. - Browser history search: find previously visited pages, open a URL, or use the browser's default search provider. - Save webpages and social posts: capture the current page, a link, or selected text from popular social platforms and any other webpage, with full-text search and filters. - Local saved-content manager: use full-text search plus platform, collection, reading-state, and time filters to find saved pages and posts later. - Keyboard command palette: open TroveKey on ordinary webpages with Ctrl/Command + Shift + K and run common browser actions. - Tab controls and workflows: pin, mute, reload, print, scroll, duplicate, or close tabs, and start common creation flows for Notion, Google Docs, Figma, GitHub, Asana, and more. - Local organization and backup: edit items in bulk, check original links, undo deletion, and import or export versioned JSON. - Personal settings: configure shortcuts, capture behavior, appearance, and local data controls in English or Chinese. For supported social platforms, TroveKey attempts to capture useful titles, authors, text, and canonical links for local search. Other sites use general webpage metadata. If a login wall, paywall, protected page, or site change blocks access, TroveKey marks the capture as partial and keeps the available link and metadata. Browser permissions are used only for visible commands and capture flows. Destructive actions such as clearing browsing data require confirmation. Saved content lives in the extension's local IndexedDB database. Export a JSON backup before removing the extension or clearing extension data. No account. No cloud sync. No AI summaries. Full images and videos are not downloaded by default. Help: https://trovekey.net/help Privacy: https://trovekey.net/privacy
