Overview

Save photos, videos, reels, stories and Pinterest pins at full quality — and export your Instagram likes as CSV or JSON.

Trove keeps what you save on Instagram and Pinterest as real files on your own disk, in formats you can actually open — and turns your Instagram likes into a spreadsheet instead of a folder of JSON nobody can read. ━━ FREE, FOREVER ━━ A download button on every Instagram post, reel, story and grid tile — and on every Pinterest pin. Press it, pick from the resolutions the site actually has, and you get the real file, not the thumbnail the page is showing. • Instagram: photos, videos, reels, carousels and stories • Pinterest: image pins, video pins, carousels and idea pins • "Original" means the file that was uploaded, not the biggest thumbnail • Carousels and multi-page pins save every item into a folder of their own • On an Instagram post the button joins the app's own row of controls, in the right colour for whichever theme you use • Filenames carry the handle and the post id, so any file leads back to where it came from without an index • No limits, no watermarks, no ads, no account ━━ TROVE ARCHIVE — ONE-TIME PURCHASE ━━ Everything that turns a save button into an archive. Buy once; there is no subscription and it keeps working. EXPORT YOUR LIKED POSTS Instagram's own data export gives you a folder of JSON nobody can read. Trove collects your like history from Instagram's Activity Center and writes it as: • CSV — every field, opens in Excel or Sheets • JSON — flat, with full records • JSON by creator — creator → post1..postN → post URL • ZIP — one file per creator Filter by creator, media type, date or keyword first. Usernames are resolved automatically, so your export says "natgeo", not a numeric id. SAVE A PROFILE'S STORIES The live 24-hour reel, and its highlights if you ask — the half of an Instagram profile that otherwise disappears. Frames are named by the moment they were posted, which is the only thing that still orders them once the day is up. SAVE A WHOLE PINTEREST BOARD Open a board and save it in one run, at the size each pin actually has. Carousels and idea pins keep every page. The run is paced, it can be stopped between pins, and it tells you where it stopped. DOWNLOAD MEMORY Every file is recorded, so the same post or pin is never fetched twice — whether you saved it from a post, a board run or the exporter. Export that memory to keep beside your media, and import it after a reinstall. ━━ WHAT TROVE DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO ━━ Trove will not download a profile's entire back catalogue. On Instagram that feature was built and then removed; on Pinterest it was never offered. Saving everything a person has ever posted or pinned is not what this is for, whatever it would do for the install count. A board is the exception, and a deliberate one: it is a collection somebody assembled on purpose, and you save it by opening it and asking for it by name. There is no way to point Trove at a person and take everything. The two bulk runs — a story reel, and a board — ask before they touch anything that is not yours. The notice explains that the content belongs to whoever posted it, that copyright still applies, and that bulk downloading is against the site's terms of use, and you have to agree on purpose. Those runs are also paced more slowly than runs on your own account, and that pacing cannot be turned down. Please use this for your own archive, and respect the people whose work you save. ━━ PRIVACY ━━ • No account, no server, no analytics, no ads • Nothing you collect or download is uploaded anywhere — it stays in your browser, and you can delete all of it at any time from the dashboard • Requests go to instagram.com and pinterest.com only, from your own logged-in sessions, and only when you press something • Scrolling either site with Trove installed makes no requests at all • Paid users' browsers also contact the licence server to check a key, and only after granting permission for it. Free users are never asked. ━━ NOTE ━━ Trove is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc. or Pinterest, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.
