TrollPop
Overview
Flash your own images across websites with custom random timing. Simple controls, fullscreen fun, and entirely local storage.
A little chaos, on your terms. TrollPop flashes an image stretched across your browser viewport at random intervals you choose. Click the TrollPop icon to pick a picture from your device, preview it, set your timing, and start the fun. Use separate minimum and maximum values for how long the image stays visible and how long it pauses between flashes. Set equal values for a fixed interval. One button stops the effect across your tabs. - Choose a local PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, or AVIF image. - Set flash and pause intervals from 100 to 60,000 milliseconds. - Use the original TrollPop mascot or your own picture. - Save your preferences locally between browser sessions. - Reset your image any time to remove the custom image from storage. Your image is processed entirely on your device. There are no server uploads, accounts, analytics, or cloud sync. Images are resized to a maximum of 1920 pixels on the longest side; animated images use a still frame. File limit: 20 MB before conversion. TrollPop starts off. It runs on ordinary websites where Chrome allows extensions; Chrome internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, and other protected pages are excluded. Refresh existing tabs after installing. Local files require Chrome's Allow access to file URLs setting. Hidden tabs pause the effect.
