Overview

Passively visualize UCSD Triton Student System (TSS) courses you browse on a calendar planner. Read-only: no extra server traffic.

TritonPlan brings back the course-planning calendar that UCSD's old WebReg had and the new Triton Student System (TSS) is missing. HOW TO USE Browse a course in TSS, click the "+ TritonPlan" button on any section, and it drops onto a clean weekly calendar — color-coded, with times, rooms, instructors, and final exams — so you can arrange your schedule and catch conflicts before you book, you can even jump back to TSS and go to the booking page from the planner. FEATURES • Weekly calendar view of your class times, with a live "now" line on today • Automatic time-conflict detection and highlighting • A Finals view — a date-ordered list plus a finals-week calendar — that flags overlapping final exams • Switch a course's section combination to clear a conflict • Share your plan by link, or export/import it as a file • Jump from any calendar block back to that course in TSS HOW IT WORKS When you browse the Schedule of Classes, the TSS server already sends the course data to your browser. TritonPlan simply captures that data as it arrives and draws it on the planner. It never sends a request of its own and never automates TSS — it behaves exactly like normal browsing. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Your plan stays on your device, saved in your browser and in the share links you create. Nothing is collected or uploaded, and the planner site has no backend. Manually open the planner: https://hfjddjksaj.github.io/tritonplan/ Open source on GitHub: https://github.com/hfjddjksaj/tritonplan TritonPlan is an unofficial, student-made tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by UC San Diego. Built with the help of Claude Code. Updates: v0.2.1 • Added a sort button in TSS that fits how you actually browse • Added course prerequisites • Updated share menu • Fixed the rendering of the course-list boundary line in TSS • Fixed share links being too long to send • Fixed exam times showing up as class meetings v0.2.2 • Code review v0.2.3 • Added a phone-friendly planner with Courses, Calendar and Finals tabs • Added QR codes to the Share menu • Added multiple plans functionality • Removed the JSON export and import in share
