Overview
Gradually trickle your text into Google Docs with natural, human-paced typing.
Seamlessly integrate your AI drafts into Google Docs with natural, human-paced typing. If you use AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to draft content, copy-pasting massive walls of text into your Google Document can disrupt your editing process and format history. TrickleType is a simple, free Chrome extension that takes your AI-generated drafts and "trickles" them into your document character by character, simulating a natural human typing speed. Instead of pasting everything at once, TrickleType types out your text over a set period of time. This allows you to slowly review the content as it appears, easing you into a flow state so you can naturally take over and continue editing your draft. How it works: 1. Open any Google Document. 2. Click the TrickleType icon to open the side panel. 3. Paste your AI-generated text, brain dump, or rough outline into the text box (or upload a text file). 4. Set how long you want the typing session to last (15m, 30m, 1h, etc.) 5. Click "Start Writing". Features: - Perfect for AI Drafts: Move content from LLMs to Google Docs in a natural, organic format. - Complete privacy: Everything runs 100% locally on your machine. Your drafts never leave your browser. - Side panel UI: Control and monitor the typing progress without obstructing your document. - Adjustable durations: Match the typing speed to your desired working session. - 100% Free: No subscriptions, no ads, no paywalls.
