Trello Card Export
Overview
One-click export of any Trello card to a .zip with attachments and a card.md summary.
One click. One .zip. Every Trello card, fully offline. Trello has no "export card" button. The moment you close a card or lose access to a board, its attachments and discussion are gone. Trello Card Export fixes that. Click the "Export card as ZIP" button that appears in every card on trello.com and get a single .zip with: - every original attachment (PDFs, images, spreadsheets, anything that was attached to the card) - a clean card.md with the title, board/list, description, checklist with checkmarks, and (optionally) every comment with author and date Perfect for: - closing projects and keeping a permanent offline copy - handing a card over to a client, contractor, or new team member - migrating a card to Notion, Obsidian, or any Markdown-based tool - keeping evidence of decisions when a board is deleted or access is revoked - backing up spec docs, briefs, and reports that live in Trello attachments Why this extension and not "Print to PDF" or copy-paste: - PDF loses the attachments. This keeps them as files. - Manual download misses comments and checklist state. This captures both. - Third-party exporters upload your data. This runs entirely in your browser. Nothing leaves your machine except the .zip you download yourself. No account. No signup. No server. No telemetry. Open source under MIT. Open a card. Click the button. Get a .zip. That's it.
