Overview
Write an outline in Chrome's side panel and see it as a list, a tree or a mind map.
Tree Outliner turns your outline into a tree, right in Chrome's side panel. Click the Tree Outliner button in the toolbar and the panel opens next to the page you are reading. Write as you think: every line is an item, and every item can hold its own items. Switch between three views of the same outline: • List — a classic outline • Tree — each level gets its own column • Map — the same outline as a mind map Mark items done, add color labels and notes, fold branches, drag items with everything inside them, and undo anything. ⌘K (Ctrl+K) opens every command with its keys. Your outline stays on your device. It is kept in Chrome's storage, never sent to us or to anyone else, and there is no account to sign in to. Save it as a .treeoutline file at any time; the same file opens in Tree Outliner for Mac and in the web version at treeoutliner.app. Tree Outliner for Chrome keeps one document. For as many documents as you like, each in its own tab or window, get Tree Outliner for Mac.
