Overview

Print material, WO, COTS, equipment, fixture, tool and user labels, queue purchase orders, and export Toolpath estimates.

Internal-use Chrome extension for employees of Traxis Manufacturing LLC. Published as unlisted on the Chrome Web Store and distributed to company-owned shop-floor PCs via enterprise registry policy (ExtensionInstallForcelist). Not intended for, marketed to, or usable by the general public. What it does Traxis Label Printer injects buttons on pages within our company's private ProShop ERP instance (traxismfg.adionsystems.com), and on job pages within our company's Toolpath CAM account (app.toolpath.com): 1. Print-label buttons on work-order, COTS, equipment, fixture, user, and tool pages, and per-line on purchase orders. The extension reads the relevant fields from the page DOM (and, for some types, queries the ProShop GraphQL API using the user's existing session cookie), renders a label image in the browser tab via the Canvas API, and POSTs the PNG to a Brother PT-P700 label printer service on our private LAN. Two tape widths are supported: 24 mm labels carry a QR code linking back to the ProShop record; 12 mm labels are text-only. 2. "Buy" button on COTS, Tools, and Parts pages. The user is prompted for a quantity; the extension best-effort scrapes the unit cost, brand, and supplier from the page, then POSTs the request to an internal purchasing-queue service on our private LAN, which either auto-approves under preconfigured rules or surfaces it for manual review by authorized staff. 3. "Export Estimate to ProShop" button on our own Toolpath part reports. The extension reads that job's machining estimate from Toolpath's own API using the user's existing session, and POSTs it to an internal bridge service on our private LAN which creates a matching estimate in ProShop. This is a read of our own account's data only - the extension never sends anything to Toolpath. Privacy and data handling No data is transmitted to any public-internet server. The extension communicates with exactly these hosts, all declared in the manifest: - https://traxismfg.adionsystems.com/* - the company's ProShop ERP instance - https://app.toolpath.com/parts/* - the company's Toolpath CAM account (read-only; the only public-internet host contacted, and only on pages the user has already opened in our own account) - http://10.1.1.242:5002/* and http://10.1.1.242:5003/* - LAN-only Brother PT-P700 print services (24 mm and 12 mm tape) - http://10.1.1.161:5003/* - LAN-only purchasing-queue service - http://127.0.0.1:8046/* and http://10.1.1.161:8046/* - LAN-only estimate-bridge service No analytics, telemetry, cookies, third-party services, or advertising. The extension requests no Chrome permissions beyond these hosts - no storage, history, bookmarks, or identity. Full privacy policy: https://claude-wolfgang.github.io/traxis-privacy/ What's new since v1.6.1 - Fixture labels, on fixture pages and per-fixture on work orders. - Work-order labels (reprint of the label printed at WO creation). - Per-line tool/COTS label buttons on purchase orders, with an operator-entered copy count. - Toolpath estimate export (new app.toolpath.com content script and LAN bridge hosts). - 12 mm label support for tool, equipment, and COTS records. 12 mm labels are human-readable only - a QR code at that tape width measures 0.21 mm per module, below what a scanner can resolve, so it is deliberately omitted. Scanning stays on the 24 mm label. - Equipment labels now include the serial number. Support This is a private internal tool. Questions from authorized Traxis staff: tom@traxismfg.com
