Trase automates invoice collection for freelancers. Instead of manually logging into 12+ vendor portals every month, Trase does it for you. HOW IT WORKS 1. Upload your bank CSV on app.trase.work 2. Trase's AI identifies your vendors and their portals 3. This extension navigates each portal and downloads your invoices — orchestrated by the Trase cloud THIS EXTENSION is the "hands" that interact with vendor portals on your behalf. It works together with the Trase cloud service (at app.trase.work). No desktop app is required. WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES • Navigates vendor portal pages (click, type, scroll) under instruction from the Trase cloud • Downloads invoice PDFs from vendor portals and uploads them securely to your Trase account • Rides your current chrome sessions so you never need to log in in the cloud WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES NOT DO • It never stores your passwords • It never accesses pages without your explicit action (you initiate every fetch) • It never runs autonomously — all actions are orchestrated by the Trase cloud in response to your requests • It never collects or transmits browsing history EXTENSION PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • "Read and change all your data on all websites" — Required to navigate any vendor portal (portals vary per user) • Tabs — To open and manage portal tabs during invoice fetching • Cookies — To sync portal login sessions with the Trase cloud • Downloads — To capture downloaded invoice files before uploading them to your account • Storage — To persist extension settings locally PRIVACY Invoice files are uploaded to your private Trase account storage. The extension communicates only with app.trase.work and Trase's cloud backend. No browsing history or unrelated page data is collected or transmitted.
