Place the cursor in a supported search box, enter your text, and press Alt+T. Translation Dimension will translate the current text into the search target language you configured separately. Type, press the shortcut, and continue searching. ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ Search translation runs only when you actively press the shortcut. Password fields are never read or processed. 🤖 Multiple translation methods—you decide In supported Chrome environments, you can prioritize the browser's built-in translation feature. Depending on your needs, you can also choose and configure: • MyMemory • DeepL • Microsoft Translator • OpenAI-compatible endpoints • Other supported API-based large language model translation endpoints • Custom API endpoints and models If you prefer simplicity, you can use the built-in translation directly. If you have your own API, you can configure it to suit your needs. The choice is always yours. (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ When using a third-party API or custom endpoint, you choose and configure the provider, endpoint URL, model, and API key yourself. ⚙️ Simple settings that are remembered automatically • The translation target language is placed prominently on the settings page. • You can switch between bilingual translation and replacing the original text at any time. • The target language for search boxes can be configured separately. • The interface language can be selected independently. • The global translation toggle is located separately, so you can turn it on or off when needed. Selections made in drop-down menus are saved automatically, so you do not need to configure them again each time. ♪(´▽｀) 🔐 Privacy and data We do our best to explain the data flow clearly, so you do not have to guess. (｀・ω・´) When you choose the browser's built-in translation, the text to be translated is not sent to translation servers controlled by the operator of Translation Dimension. When you choose a third-party API or custom endpoint, the web page text, existing subtitles, or search text that you actively submit, as necessary to complete your requested translation, will be sent to the provider you selected. API keys are stored locally in your browser and are used only when making requests to the corresponding endpoint. Account sign-in is optional. Authentication infrastructure is provided by Supabase, and the enabled Google or X sign-in methods may be used. Translation Dimension does not: • Sell your personal information • Use translated content to deliver targeted advertising • Integrate advertising-profile telemetry SDKs 📌 What to know before use Translation Dimension primarily works on regular HTTP and HTTPS web pages. The following pages or content may not be translatable: • Internal Chrome pages • Chrome Web Store pages • Other pages protected or restricted by the browser • Videos without readable subtitles • Videos whose subtitle sources are restricted or encrypted • Areas that temporarily cannot be recognized after a website's structure changes Machine translation and content generated by large language models may contain errors. For contracts, medical or financial information, academic citations, or other important information, always review the original text manually.
