Translate selected text into your chosen language with ChatGPT.

Translate with ChatGPT makes it easy to translate any text you find while browsing. Select text on a webpage, click Translate, and the extension opens a new ChatGPT conversation with a clear translation prompt already prepared. Choose your preferred target language from the extension popup, then review and send the prompt when you are ready. It is removed after retrieval and is not sent to an extension-owned server. This extension does not use the OpenAI API, does not require an API key, and does not automatically submit messages to ChatGPT. You stay in control of every translation request. Note: This extension works on regular webpages. Chrome does not allow extensions to run on certain internal or restricted pages, including the Chrome Web Store.
