Capture and download a complete transcript from an open Microsoft Teams transcript page.

Transcript Capture for Teams helps you save a completed Microsoft Teams transcript directly from Microsoft Edge as a readable plain-text file. Open the transcript pane in Microsoft Teams, select the extension from the Edge toolbar, and start the recorder. The extension captures the visible transcript rows while you browse manually, or you can select Auto-capture all to let it move through the complete transcript automatically. Microsoft Teams displays long transcripts using a virtualized list, where only part of the transcript exists on screen at one time. The extension is designed to handle this by scrolling through the transcript, collecting each available row, checking the expected total, and reporting whether the capture is complete. A reverse verification pass helps recover rows that may have been missed at virtual-list boundaries. The extension provides four straightforward controls: • Start recorder — begins capturing the transcript in the selected Teams tab. • Auto-capture all — automatically moves through the transcript and checks coverage. • Download transcript — saves the captured content as a UTF-8 plain-text file. • Stop recorder — stops capture and clears temporary transcript data from the tab. The downloaded file preserves transcript order, speaker names, timestamps, messages, and transcription start or stop events. If rows appear to be missing, the extension displays the incomplete coverage and asks for confirmation before downloading a partial transcript. Privacy is built into the extension. It runs only after you invoke it and uses temporary access to the selected tab. Transcript information is processed locally in the browser and is not transmitted to the developer or any third party. The extension has no account requirement, advertising, analytics, tracking, external service, persistent website access, or remotely hosted code. Use Transcript Capture for Teams only for meetings and transcripts you are authorized to access. The extension is intended for Microsoft Teams on the web and requires an open transcript pane with transcript rows available.
