)Overview
Back-button history that never forgets a branch. Go back, click something new, and the page you left stays on your trail.
Your back button deletes the pages you leave behind. Trailhead keeps every branch. Go back two pages, click a different link, and normal browser history throws away the path you were on. Trailhead keeps a tree instead. Every page you backed out of stays one click away, and all your open tabs are drawn together as one map. Everything stays on your device. WHAT IT DOES - Keeps every branch. Go back, click something new, and the page you left stays on your trail instead of vanishing. - Left behind. Pages you backed out of are shelved at the top of the side panel. Click Restore to reopen one in a new tab. Press Alt+Shift+B to bring back the page you most recently went back from. - Side panel. Click the toolbar icon to open Trailhead beside the page you're on. See your current trail as a list or a graph, and switch the graph between this trail and your whole browser. It follows the page you're on. - Full-page map. Press Alt+Shift+M (or the expand button) to see all your open tabs and their trails at once. Each tab has its own colour. A link you open in a new tab appears as a dashed branch from the page you clicked it on, so you can see where every tab came from. - Pins and notes. Star a page or add a short note, and it is kept even when old history is cleaned up. - Park a trail. Close all the tabs of one trail and save them, then reopen them later with one click from the Saved view. - Search your trails. Find any page you visited by its title or address, across all trails. - Long chains fold up. A run of plain page-to-page steps collapses into a single "N pages" pill that you can expand, so big trails stay readable. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who researches, shops, compares or just wanders the web: you follow a lead, go back, try another, and later can't find the first one. Trailhead is also handy if you keep many tabs open and lose track of which tab came from where. HOW TO USE IT 1. Browse as usual. Trailhead records pages from the moment you install it. 2. Go back and click something different. The page you left is kept. 3. Open the side panel from the toolbar icon to see your trail, restore pages you left behind, or switch to the Graph view. 4. Open the full-page map with Alt+Shift+M to see every tab at once.
