Overview
The extension allows you to set a traffic_type flag in your browser's session storage for specific websites.
Use the traffic_type flag to control the firing of GTM tags or to filter out internal and developer traffic when you don’t have access to a VPN or a static IP address. This helps you exclude internal and developer visits from your analytics and marketing platforms. The flag is active only for the specified websites and is removed when the extension is turned off or the tab is closed. How it works: Step 1: Choose or enter the flag value you want to use. Step 2: Add the websites where the flag should be active and click Save. Step 3: Retrieve the flag value from session storage using a JavaScript variable in your GTM.
